What you will be doing in this role

Due to upcoming MAT leave we have a number of Casual positions available for experienced Registered Midwifes to join the team at NSW’s largest private hospital. Full Time – Max term and perm roles are possible for the right candidate.

You will work within a well-established and supportive team with a Nursing Unit Manager that is hands on, flexible and likes to see her team be successful in their role. You will have the opportunity to work across three areas being: the Birthing Unit, Special Care Nursery and the Post Natal unit.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’ll have current AHPRA registration as an Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 2-3 years post registration experience.
  • You’ll have experience working within a private hospital (preferred but not essential)
  • You’ll have demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.
  • You’ll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.
  • You’ll have flexible availability and will be able to work on a range of days including Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts.
  • You’ll have full Australian working rights
